As her first solo EP, the Color of You is a project of heartbreak, cycles and emotional coping. With some features to boot such as Khalid and Jada, Alina Baraz’s voice fits well with a heavier R&B project compared to her collaboration with Galimatias. This is not only a vulnerable EP but represents Alina making her presence online and to her fans more known. Good to see that inspiration of Color is still here as she stated in an interview in 2018. It’s nice, but you almost wonder if we’ll ever get another ethereal electronic record with her and Galimatias
