Cinta Buatan Malaysia is the first studio album recorded by the band Search since its founding in 1977. The album produced by M. Nasir (with the help of Eric Yeo as production manager) was recorded at Lion Studio, Singapore, under the guidance of recording artists Johnny Herbert and Eddie Seet before being released in July 1985.
